Many times when we have this particular symptom where the car just clicks when you go to start it, then it is the starter that needs to be replaced. This is not true 100% of the time, but it is a common failure and symptom of that failure. We would need to diagnose it properly to make sure that's what is going on. Your car is overheating when you're driving due to restricted air flow to the radiator and the engine. When you're stopped and idling there is no air flow. You may have a coolant leak of some kind or your radiator may be plugged with debris. Either way it needs to be checked before it does damage to your engine. Your pickup can shake at an idle for a few reasons, the most common that we see is from a misfire on the engine. It can be from your spark plugs misfiring or if your drive a diesel it would be your injector misfiring. Either way if it goes on to long it can damage your engine. We would suggest to have it checked to make sure there isn't any damage. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

When your transmission goes out then your vehicle won't move. Internally it will have broken pieces that will need to be replaced. You can either have your transmission rebuilt or a re-manufactured transmission installed. We typically suggest that you have your transmission rebuilt as it can be more cost effective and we can install updated and higher grade parts. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Like when your engine oil is low it can cause damage to the internal componets of your transmission and it won't work properly. When your transmission fluid is low it won't cool it properly and it can cause your transmission to overheat and slip. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

For those who are loving all the summer fun and trips then I hate to be the bearer of bad news - back to school is coming. For those who are ready for the kids to go back to school then you're ready for it. Me....I'm somewhere in-between. My youngest finished elementary school this last year and now he's in middle school. The middle is starting high school - it's hard to think of him as a freshman, and the oldest well this is where it gets hard, he's a senior this year. I'm not ready. Although I doubt anyone is ever ready - except for the kids. Right now were making plans for back to school shopping and we have received some of our fall sports schedule. It's going to be busy with all the games. I know my car is going to need to get checked and an oil change before school starts, there's a good chance yours does too. Give us a call and let take one thing off your mind. Happy Adventures, Heather

Your transmission is made up of many components, when those components get worn out it can cause your transmission to slip. This can also happen when your transmission fluid isn't serviced on a regular basis or when the fluid is burnt. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

An injector is a computer controlled valve that delivers fuel to the engine. Over time they can develop buildup that causes them to not work properly. When this happens they don't deliver the proper amount of fuel and your engine doesn't run properly. Injectors should be replaced as a set, as not all fuel delivery rates are the same.
