A noise when turning could be due to an issue with your ball joints. Ball joints are a vital component in your suspension system. If they have excess movement they can cause a noise, and they will cause poor tire wear when they are worn out. This could be due to an issue with your power steering pump, or your suspension components. If your power steering pump is low on fluid it will cause your pump to be loud and potentially cause damage to your power steering pump. This is typically do to an issue with in your suspension system. There are many things that can cause your popping noise, anything from worn bushings to ball joints and anything in between. Anytime that your vehicle starts to do something or make a different noise than normal then we're going to say it needs to be checked. Sometimes it super easy and we can give you some piece of mind just by listening to your car and other times it may take a bit of time to figure out where it's coming from. We know just how weird it can be to try and describe a noise that's coming from your vehicle, we've all been there. If you're hearing a noise when turning then you may have a suspension issue. It could be a shock or strut that the mounting plate is worn and it could need to be replaced. The best way to know for sure is to have it properly diagnosed to make sure you're safe on all your adventures.
