What does it mean when your car shakes

This typically means that you have an issue with your suspension or your brakes. A loose steering or suspension component can cause shaking while driving and if the shaking is bad enough it can cause you to lose control of your vehicle and possibly cause an accident. Steering and suspension components should be replaced once they have movement in them from age and wear. We check your steering and suspension components every time we see your vehicle.  Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My car started shaking

Your vehicle could be shaking due to a suspension component being worn out, for pickups it can cause a "death wobble" this is very specific to a certain suspension system, but when it happens it can be dangerous due to the lack of control you have when driving. If this happens you need to hold the steering wheel firmly and slow down as quickly as is safe while still in control of the vehicle. You may have to come to a complete stop for it to go away, once this happens you can start driving again. This will keep happening at unpredictable times until the suspension issue is fixed.  Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

Why does my car shaking?

Your vehicle may be due to a worn out u-joint. U-joints are the part that attaches your driveline to your rear differential and to your transmission. When these have excess movement they can cause shaking and if not repaired they can cause damage to your vehicle and components.  Give us a call at 541-791-2886 or request an appointment online and let us take care of you.
