This could be due to an issue with your starting system. If your starting is fail then when you go to start your engine it will make a click noise. Of course there could be a secondary issue along with the starter, but most of the time we find it is a simple fix. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

This could be due to an issue with your starter and your flex plate. If your starter is not connecting to your flex plate properly during starting then it can cause your vehicle to not start. We would need to test your started to make sure it doesn't have an issue then to inspect your flex plate for any missing teeth. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

When you turn the key and your vehicle doesn't start then it could be from multiple reasons. The most common reason is that your starter has failed. This will happen just because it is worn out or from an internal failure. Either way your starter will need to be replaced to get you back on the road. Over time anything can wear out, even your starter. Just think of how many starting cycles you've had over the course of the lifetime of your vehicle. Every single time you start your vehicle your starter has to make that happen. Over a period of many years all that starting can cause the brushes inside of the starter to wear out and stop functioning. Sometimes it's a part that can be repaired and other times it just needs to be replaced -that just depends on the starter itself. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

Many times when we have this particular symptom where the car just clicks when you go to start it, then it is the starter that needs to be replaced. This is not true 100% of the time, but it is a common failure and symptom of that failure. We would need to diagnose it properly to make sure that's what is going on.
