Your diesel could have a lack of power if your turbo is not working properly. This could be due to the internal components of your turbo failing. If the veins of the turbo are sticking or stuck closed, then it will cause a low boost issue and then that will cause a lack of power. There are other components in the turbo that will also cause a lack of power. If the actuator fails then the turbo will also be stuck in the wrong position causing a lack of power. Nothing is worse than when your vehicle isn't running like it should. If you're anything like me I depend on my vehicle to be ready to go whenever I need to be somewhere and when it's not it's frustrating. If your turbo suddenly stopped making boost and it's having issues it needs to be looked at. It could be a simple fix or we may need to look into rebuilding or replacing the turbo on your car.
