Your air filter is a filter that allows clean air to enter your engine. If your air filter is dirty, clogged or damaged it can prevent clean air from getting into your engine making it not run properly and it can cause poor fuel mileage. Your cabin air filter is different from your engine air filter. If you live in an area that is dusty or if your drive on dirt or gravel roads frequently then you will probably have to change your air filter more often. If your wondering what your air filter looks like give us a call or request an appointment online and we will give it a check for you. Happy Adventures, Heather

I know today is black Friday and that itself has become a national holiday, but with all of that please remember to shop at the local stores in your town. They are small businesses trying to provide for there families, they work long hours with very little reward other than to know they are making a difference in the lives of the people who they employ and to there children. We are a small business too and sometimes people forget. Please remember to shop small and support that local family who is doing their best to make a difference. Happy Adventures, Heather

HAir filters are important to the health of your vehicle's engine, the air that flows into the engine goes through the air filter first and when your air filter is dirty or clogged that means that your engine is being starved for air. It should be changed before it ever gets to that point to keep your vehicle running at it's best. We advise for the engine air filter to be changed based on condition. Some vehicles have a cabin air filter too, these filters are for the air that you breath in the car. We advise that your filter should be changed between 15,000 and 20,000 miles and some of that depends on the places that you go, if you smoke in your car then we advise it to be changed every 10,000 miles.
