When turning on your heat and you smell antifreeze, you most likely have a leak somewhere within your cooling system. To know where it's coming from they need to perform a test to know exactly where it's coming from since your cooling system has so many different parts to it. Merry Christmas Eve! Christmas is almost here! I know my kids are so excited for Christmas and to be done with school for a couple of weeks. I wish I could say they're sleeping in, but they're on swim team so they're at practice every morning from 6:30-8:30 so no sleeping in for them. Jason will be here today from 8 to 1 for anything you need and we're closed tomorrow for Christmas. We'll see you on Thursday. Merry Christmas! Heather

Your headlights could be dim due to the type of bulb that is in your headlight, it could also be from your headlight lenses that have begun to get cloudy. This can be remedied without changing your headlight lenses. We can perform a headlight restoration and they will look almost like new again. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Merry Christmas and Happy 2020!! The next year brings huge changes to my family as our oldest son will be graduating from high school and moving onto college. He's unsure of where that might be, he could stay home (which I wouldn't mind) but he is also talking about going away....so we're just waiting on that. This year though with it being his possible last year at home I'm trying to make it as special as possible. We have holiday parties planned and adventures with friends. With all that coming and going it's a good time to remember some rules and tips when traveling in the winter weather. 1. Make sure you have your phone and charger. If you break down you'll want it. 2. Water - make sure you have a bottle for each person in the car 3. Blankets - I keep a blanket in the car at all times, this time of year though I add a couple or when I know we're going on a day trip I tell the boys to grab one. 4. Emergency kit - they're so small ... read more

Your transmission fluid can burn due to friction in the gears and every time your transmission shifts heat is created with the clutches engage. Over time this can cause your transmission fluid to burn. Servicing your transmission on a regular schedule can prevent a catastrophic failure to your transmission and components. The snowflake on your tire means your tire is snow rated - this isn't a stud less snow tire, this just means that your tires are rated for winter driving. They can handle winter and snow, but if you live in an area that gets an intense amount of winter weather then it may be a good idea to invest in stud less snow tires. Stud less snow tires have extra cuts in the tread which allows them to grip slippery surfaces better. Give us a call and let us take care of you. 541-791-2886 Happy Adventures, Heather

Your explanation mark on your dash board is a warning for you TPMS sensor. It means that you have a tire that is under the correct amount of pressure. The sensors are sometimes in your spare tire too, which should have it's air pressure checked at every oil change to make sure it's ready when you need it. This light indicates that one of your tires has low air pressure. It could be that your tire has a slow leak or maybe you picked up a nail. It could also be on due to a sudden change in the weather. If it has recently gotten cold then the air pressure in your tires will go down (heat expands, cold shrinks) and it may just need an adjustment. You can stop by anytime we are open and we will happily check your air pressure to make sure you're safe. Give us a call and let us take care of you 541-791-2886 Happy Adventures, Heather

If your heater isn't blowing hot your engine could be low on coolant. I know how that sounds, but if your engine doesn't have enough coolant in it then it will cause your heater to not blow hot. The coolant cycles through your engine, radiator, cooling hoses and your heater core. Your heat that comes out of your vents is from the heater core and if you don't have enough coolant cycling through your system then it won't be warm.
