Happy Monday! We hope you had a great restful weekend and you're ready for the week ahead.  Your cabin air filter should be changed every 15,000 to 20,000 miles. Did you know that your cabin air filter filters the air that you breathe. If you're one of us that has allergies then this is even more critical. Your cabin air filter will trap pollen and help you feel better when you're driving your car. Some of them have charcoal added and those will help eliminate odors from inside and those coming from outside as well. Happy Friday everyone! We hope you're enjoying this beautiful weather. We know the rain will be coming back again soon enough, but we are all enjoying the sunshine as much as we can. If your car is squeaking when you turn then it could be due to an issue with your steering and suspension. Many time a noise when turning is from your power steering pump. Rainy weather seems to be back again, with that means we're using our wipers. We hope you're well and we are hoping that we're all getting back to normal soon. We are open and taking appointments.  We had such a beautiful weekend and it was so warm too. We turned on the air conditioner for my vehicle and it would only blow hot air, which is a little disappointing when you're expecting nice cold air. We got it in and found that it just needed to be recharged. If your check engine light is coming on and turning off again then it could be a emissions code. This means anything from a faulty gas cap to an issue with an oxygen sensor and many things in between. The only way to know what is going on is to make an appointment and we will scan the computer and run a diagnostic test on it to pinpoint your issue. For the rest of the year traveling will be a bit weird compared to what we are use to. Hopefully the campgrounds, beaches, lakes, rivers and parks will open up and we will get to enjoy the spring and summer. For those who are going to be out and about you should think about getting your vehicle serviced now for your upcoming trip, nothing like leaving it to the last moment and then being delayed due to other issues. I know that our plans have been altered and we are hopeful to still do a little fishing this summer and maybe we can go camping if it works out. The sun is shining and it makes me want to go outside and enjoy it. That moment when you're packed and ready to go and you turn the key and nothing happens - it's not a great feeling. This could be from a number of things including a bad battery or a lack of fuel. If your fuel pump has stopped working then it will cause your car to not start, or crank.
