Anytime that your vehicle is running poorly and starts to blow white smoke that can be concerning for sure. We had a diesel pickup in a few days ago with those exact symptoms. We were able to diagnose the issue as bad fuel. We drained the fuel tank, cleaned it, added good fuel and a cleaning additive, re-drove and the pickup is running perfect. If you're having a run-ability issue with your vehicle - gas, diesel, or hybrid give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

If your air conditioner was just recently serviced and it's still blowing hot, then you have a leak somewhere in your system. On every vehicle that we do an air conditioning service on we use a dye in the oil that is injected into the system to check for leaks. This save you money and us time looking for an issue with your system. Over time hoses and fittings do wear out and need to be replaced along with compressors and condensers. If your air conditioning isn't blowing cold, give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

"Tune ups" are when your spark plugs, wires and/or coil boots along with a distributor cap and ignition rotor are changed. As for the interval that depends on your engine. Older vehicles need to have a tune-up every 30,000 to 60,0000, while newer engines can wait until 90,000 to be serviced. It really just depends on your engine. Anytime that your car is making a noise that isn't "normal" then it should be checked out. If your injector(s) have gone bad then your engine is going to run badly and it will have a misfire. It may feel like your driving on washboard. If your diesel is running poorly then it needs to be checked out before it causes more damage to other componets. Give us a call at 541-791-2886 and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

Your turn signal has a switch that controls it, and if the switch has gone bad then that can make your turn signal not function properly. It could also have an electrical short of some kind that is preventing it from working too. If your turn signal isn't working then it's best to have it checked out, it's a vital part of your safety equipment on your vehicle. Give us a call at 541-791-2886 and let us take care of you. Your spark plugs should be replaced every 30,000-90,000 miles depending on your engine to keep your engine running properly. It will also increase your fuel mileage. Regular maintenance will keep your car on the road longer and will cost you less in repairs. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

No. You do not have to go back to the dealership for your regular maintenance - ie. oil changes, tune ups, fluid services. If you have a factory recall or warranty claim you do have to go back to the dealership to have that completed, everything else you can take it to your favorite shop and they can do the work for you. We see many newer vehicles that still have the factory warranty, when we find something that needs repaired and it's covered under the warranty we always make sure that we have complete documentation that includes pictures, if needed we will also take a video for you. We want it to be one less thing for you to worry about. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

We here this sometimes and typically it's an older vehicle that just needs some regular maintenance. Now your vehicle may not be worth per blue book what it could take to keep it on the road, but with the same money could you go out and buy a different vehicle that is in better shape. 9 times out of 10 no you can't. Now if you're in the market for a newer vehicle or a new one, then take the money and put it as a down payment on that new vehicle. To us as long as you're safe on the road that's what really matters. It's your vehicle and it's your choice as to how you maintain it, we're just here to give you advice and guide you. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

We get that most people don't tow, but if you do or if you're looking into it you need to make sure everything is ready to go. A pre-trip inspection will make sure you're brakes and lights are all in working order. We also suggest that if it's been awhile since you went anywhere that you hookup the week or two prior to make sure all your lights and connections are ready to go. The last thing anyone wants to be stuck in the driveway trying to figure out a light issue when you should be on your trip. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather
