My oil pressure gauge stopped working

Your oil pressure could have dropped out due to an issue with your oil pump. If your oil pump is not pumping enough oil out of your oil pan into your engine then it can cause engine failure. Your oil is the lifeblood of your engine and if it doesn't have it then it won't run. This can be tested by putting a mechanical gauge on your engine to test how much oil pressure you have. If your oil can light comes on while you're driving then you should pull over as soon as it is safe and turn off your engine.  Give us a call to set up your appointment and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My car won't run

If your car won't run then it could be due to a faulty fuel pump. Most of the time your fuel pump is an electrical component and over time it will wear out and need to be replaced. This isn't typically something that can be detected prior to the fuel pump failing. A tip to help your fuel pump last longer keep your fuel tank over 1/4 tank. When your tank has less than 1/4 then it can cause your fuel pump to suck air and it can shorten the lifespan.  Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My steering wheel is stiff

If your steering wheel is stiff while turning then it could be an issue with your power steering pump. If it is low on fluid then it won't have enough fluid to work properly causing the steering issue. It is most likely low due to a leak in your system. This could be the power steering pump itself, a line or one of the other steering components. Give us a call to schedule your appointment and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

Why did my air bag light come on

It could be your air bag is fine, but that you have an issue with one of the sensors that it monitors. Your air bag typically will not deploy in a collisions if your air bag light is on. Your module and / or your sensors will need to be tested. Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures, Heather

My headlights are cloudy

Your headlights lens can become cloudy due to age and deterioration from the elements. This can impair your driving visibility and make for unsafe conditions. Rather than replace your headlight lenses we can restore them and they will look like almost new and you will be able to see properly while driving at night. This process takes a bit of time and energy but it is worth it when you can see where you're headed. Give us a call to schedule your appointment and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My car is dripping fluid

Your car has many different fluids which can all cause a leak. Any time you have fluid leaking from your car then it needs to be addressed and taken care of. Your fluids are a vital component that keeps your car operating properly and keeps you safe on the road. Your dripping may be caused from a faulty radiator hose or heater connector. This would cause you to lose coolant and if you lose to much coolant then your vehicle could overheat and damage your engine components. Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

I have a puddle in my garage

Depending on what color your puddle is it can be anything from engine oil or transmission fluid or power steering fluid to gear oil. Your vehicle takes many different fluids and they all have very specific purposes. Your fluids keep the internal components of your vehicle lubricated properly and running as it should. When it is low on fluid then it can cause premature wear and damage to those components. Give us a call to schedule your appointment and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My heater doesn't work

If your heater isn't working then it could be an issuing with your coolant. Your coolant flows through your engine to keep it cool, but it also flows through your heater core. As your engine warms up your coolant flows from your radiator into your engine and then into your heater core. This is what creates the warm air inside your vehicle. When your coolant is low then there is not enough coolant to go around and your heater will not warm up properly. Once the leak is fixed and your coolant is topped off then your heater should work properly. Give us a call to schedule your appointment and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My heater is blowing cold

If your heater is only blowing cold then it could be due to a plugged heater core. Your heater core is inside your dash and the warmed coolant that comes through your engine flows through it providing heat to you. If this element is plugged then it won't allow the warmed coolant to enter causing you to not have heat. Your heater core can become plugged due to contaminated coolant. Your coolant should be serviced every 36 months/3 years. Give us a call to schedule your appointment and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather
