Why do I have a puddle of water under my car?

If you've been using your air conditioner then it is most likely from your air conditioning system. When you use your air conditioning system it can freeze, once you stop driving it will melt and cause the puddle of water. Of course if you are concerned about your vehicle then we would be happy to put your mind at ease and make sure it's just the air conditioner and nothing else.  Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

Why did my car die?

Your car may have an issue with the fuel pump. If your fuel pump is not working properly then it will stop sending fuel to the engine which will cause it to die. Your fuel pump is an electrical component that is located inside of your fuel tank.  Once the pump stops working then it will have to be replaced to get you back on the road again. The fuel pump is just one component that will cause your vehicle to die. The only way to know for sure is to have it properly diagnosed by a trained technician.  Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

Summer fun

Are you enjoying summer and all it has to offer? We are. We are also being cautious and staying to ourselves. When we run into someone we give them more than enough space and then continue on our merry way. Floating the river and playing is one of our families favorite activities. It doesn't cost much and it keeps us cool on a hot day. Oregon has so many beautiful areas that you can do your part and still enjoy the great outdoors. In order to get to your destination you need to have your vehicle ready to go. Now is the time to get your vehicle in to make sure it's ready for the rest of what summer has to offer. With not having fall sports this year I know we will have more time to go on adventures.  Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

Why does my a/c blow hot on one side?

Your air conditioner may be blowing hot on one side due to your blend door actuator sticking. Your blend door controls how much hot and cold comes through your vents. If your blend door is sticking then it will cause it to only blow hot or cold. To fix this the blend door would need to be replaced.  Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My brakes are making a grinding noise

Your brakes could be making a grinding noise due to a caliper that is sticking and causing premature wear to your brake pads. This when left undiagnosed can cause your brake pads to damage your rotor if your pads get to thin. Having a caliper dragging will cause poor fuel mileage, pulling when driving or braking and if left for to long it can be a safety hazard.  Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My engine is making a popping noise

Your engine could be making a popping noise due to a broken spark plug. On certain engine's it was a common breakdown. When the spark plug breaks it will shoot up out of the spark plug hole, when it does this is will damage the ignition coil and possible other components. To fix this we have to repair the spark plug hole that is damaged. We will also recommend a complete tune up with all spark plugs, ignition coil boots unless it has been done recently.  Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather
