I know today is black Friday and that itself has become a national holiday, but with all of that please remember to shop at the local stores in your town. They are small businesses trying to provide for there families, they work long hours with very little reward other than to know they are making a difference in the lives of the people who they employ and to there children. If your car has a consistent shake it could be a misfire. A misfire can happen when spark plugs are worn out or damaged. The best way to know is to have it checked. A misfire could lead to engine damage, so the sooner you have it looked at the better.  Happy Adventures, Heather

If you have a transmission mount that is going bad you will probably feel more vibration, perhaps hear some clunking in your vehicle. If your car is making starting to have a vibration where it didn't before you should have it checked to make sure you stay safe on the road.  Happy Adventures Heather

In a moments notice when you are traveling or even perhaps in an emergency that is fine. The biggest problem is that they are not all properly trained and they are not always looking out for your best interest. We had a gentleman decide to get a discounted oil change at a quick lube.  It was anything but a deal. They broke his oil pan and it had to be replaced. The person who changed his oil had no idea what they were doing and instead of a $25 oil change he got to purchase an oil pan. I know the difference was more than the extra $15 he would have spent here, and no they did not repay him for his loss of time and the repair. Most of the time when we have a high-speed shake the problem is tire balance not alignment. It may also be caused by a bad tire or an out of  round tire, your service center can inspect the tires and let you know just what needs to be done to correct the problem. If you are having this kind of issue it should be checked sooner than later, if you have a bad tire it may let you down any time or any where. We had a little visitor to the shop today. For those who do not know the shop as three yes three black Labradors that come to work with me every single day. Yes that's a lot of dog, but I love them and they are great. They are very well behaved and if you don't like dogs that's okay we have a gate to keep them behind. They are not blood related, we just acquired them over time. Kenzie is 6, Ashley is 5 and Bailey is 2. Stop by, say hi and we always have treats on the counter if you want to give them one.  Do you know how this picture really happened....Jason had a Dorito above my head. Why does my car shake? Last time we talked about that it could be from your brakes. This time we will discuss that it could be from your engine. If you're car is shaking all the time and not just while braking then it is probably an engine issue. The best way to know is to have it checked out to make sure you're safe on all your travels. Why does my diesel smoke? When your diesel is smoking that is typically (not always) unburnt fuel. That means that smoke is raw diesel coming out the tail pipe. When you're looking for fuel economy is not the way to go. This is it, the last unofficial weekend of the summer. We are closed on Monday to give everyone just a few more minutes with family, kids and friends. The dogs aka the girls will be back to work on Monday after taking the summer off to be with the kids. Oh and we will have cookies too.   I just want to thank each one of our customers for letting us take care of you.
