When turn the key it won't start

This can be from so many different reasons. One reason is that your fuel pump has failed. Your fuel pump pumps fuel from your fuel tank to your engine. They have a motor on them and they do fail after time. When replacing your fuel pump you should always replace your fuel filter at the same time. Some vehicles the fuel pump comes as an assembly with the fuel pump and other's it is near your engine.  Give us a call and let us take care of you 541-791-2886 Happy Adventures,  Heather

My brakes are grinding

When your brakes start to grind this can be a indication that your brake pad material is gone or worn out. If your brakes have gone metal to metal it can be dangerous and drastically increase the cost of the repairs. This noise can also be as simple as a rock that is stuck in your rotor or backing plate. We do free brake inspections, never hesitate to call and make an appointment, we want you to be safe on your travels.  Give us a call and let us take care of you 541-791-2886. Should I trade my high mileage car?

This is entirely up to you. Sometimes it is time for a new vehicle and other times you can keep going. This all depends on the condition of your current vehicle. If you have done all your scheduled maintenance on time or close to it and you've taken good care of your vehicle then keep it unless you're ready for a car payment plus the expense of the maintenance that it will need on top of it. Now maybe your vehicle is a little behind on it's maintenance, it can be caught up and it will still run great. This will depend on what you want to invest in your vehicle. I have two options I tell people. Option one is your car is in great shape and it may need a bit of maintenance to keep it going or option two of it's time for a new vehicle. Just so you know my daily driver is not new, she's a 2004 and I love her. She has only left me stranded once with no fault of her own - the water pump died on the way home from work one day. Other than that she runs beautiful and s ... read more

Why does my car idle rough?

Happy Monday!! If your car is idling rough it could be from low oil. Modern engines use the oil to control valve timing. If your oil is low then you can get air in the system causing a rough idle. This can also cause damage to the engine if not corrected asap.  Give is a call and let us take care of you. 541-791-2886 Happy Adventures,  Heather

Vehicle Check-Up

Has your vehicle been sitting for a while? If so then now is the time to get a checkup before you start driving again. Sitting for long periods of time is hard on your vehicle. The gaskets, seals can harden after sitting for long periods of time, when this happens it can cause oil leaks. Your battery it typically maintained when you drive daily and if that isn't happening then it can cause your battery to be weak and could lead to a no start condition. Having a checkup is a great thing to do to make sure you're ready for all of your adventures. Give is a call and let us take care of you 541-791-2886 Happy Adventures,  Heather

When should I change my cabin air filter?

Happy Monday! We hope you had a great restful weekend and you're ready for the week ahead.  Your cabin air filter should be changed every 15,000 to 20,000 miles. Did you know that your cabin air filter filters the air that you breathe. If you're one of us that has allergies then this is even more critical. Your cabin air filter will trap pollen and help you feel better when you're driving your car. Some of them have charcoal added and those will help eliminate odors from inside and those coming from outside as well. We are open and accepting appointments.  Give us a call and let us take care of you 541-791-2886 Happy Adventures, Heather

Why does my car squeak when I turn?

Happy Friday everyone! We hope you're enjoying this beautiful weather. We know the rain will be coming back again soon enough, but we are all enjoying the sunshine as much as we can. If your car is squeaking when you turn then it could be due to an issue with your steering and suspension. Many time a noise when turning is from your power steering pump. This pump can fail and when it does it can make it hard for you to steer and control your vehicle.  Give us a call and let us take care of you 541-791-2886 Happy Adventures,  Heather
