What will happen if I don't fix my catalytic converter?

If you're having an issue with the catalytic converter and the recommendation is replacement the best bet is to have it replaced. A bad catalytic converter can cause many issues to your car and your engine. One of them being a plugged exhaust that causes back pressure then engine damage.
