Your engine's air filter filters the air that goes into your engine. When it is dirty and clogged then it restricts air flow into your engine. This restriction can cause a lack of performance (horsepower) and for your engine to work harder than usual.
When you air filter is damaged it can cause dirt and debris to pass by the air filter. This debris can damage internal components and lead to bigger issues.
Changing your engines air filter is a easy way to take good care of your engine and to keep it running smoothly.
