Why did my air bag light come on

Posted on 12/10/2020

Your air bag light could be on due to a faulty air bag module. The module monitors seat belt receptacles, passenger seat pressure switches, impact sensors, and more. It could be your air bag is fine, but that you have an issue with one of the sensors that it monitors. Your air bag typically will not deploy in a collisions if your air bag light is on. Your module and / or your sensors will need to be tested. Give us a call and let us take care of you.
