Why is my belt squeaking?

Your serpentine belt may be squeaking from age or it could have gotten something on it, oil perhaps? It is something that should be checked out, sometimes it's as easy as the belt has stretched and it just needs an adjustment or it could be due for replacement.

This can cause bigger issues with your engine
This could be causing your run-ability issues
They should be replaced on time.
