2002 Honda Civic - part 1

Posted on 9/9/2019

Today I'm going to tell you a little story about a car. This car is a 2002 Honda Civic and it currently has 580,116 miles on the odometer - yes you read that correctly 580,116 miles. The owners goal is to make it to the 1,000,000 mile mark. How neat is that, and really unheard of. So many people are just ready to scrap a car because it's at 100,000 miles and this one is 580,116 miles. To get to this point has taken some effort from the owner and from us to listen to her needs and concerns. She loves her car and it's been the perfect fit for her. She commutes to work each day and this gets her to where she needs to be.

Do you know how this happened? Well it's all due to regular maintenance on the car. From tune ups, fluid services, timing belts and replacing worn out parts when it's time. She is vigilant, so when something is off she calls and makes an appointment to make sure everything is running properly.

We made this car a custom maintenance schedule so she knows when the next oil change, tune up or fluid service needs to happen. We do this for each and every car we see so while this one may be the highest mileage car that we see, that doesn't mean that we treat it any differently than any other car.

And the story will continue.....

Give us a call and let us take care of you.

Happy Adventures,

Heather
