My car is making a scraping noise

Posted on 9/10/2020

Your car may be making a scraping noise due to an issue with your brakes. If one of your brake calipers is seized or sticking then it can cause a noise when you're driving. This noise will not go away and will progressively get worse. Your brake caliper can seize due to an excessive amount of moisture in your brake fluid that will damage the internal components of your braking system. Your brake fluid's moisture content should stay below 1% anything more than that and it should be serviced. We typically advise that you have your brake fluid serviced every 12 months. We also do free brake inspections, give us a call and let us take care of you.
