My check engine light is on and blinking

Posted on 12/30/2020

If your check engine light is on that is startling enough, but when it starts to blink that becomes an even bigger concern. When your check engine light starts to blink that typically means that your engine has a misfire. When your engine has a misfire it can be from multiple reasons. One is a bad ignition coil. Over time your ignition coil can wear out and stop working. If this happens we recommend to replace all of the ignition coils. You can replace just one, but typically we find that the other ignition coils will start to fail quickly after one has failed. Give us a call and let us take care of you.
