Your pickup may be sluggish due to an issue with your spark plugs. If your spark plugs are worn then they will not fire properly and this can cause a run-ability issue and a lack of power. Many spark plugs are good to 100,000 miles, but they is based off of an average of 12,000 driven miles per year. That would be closer to 8 years. After that the spark plugs can start to have issues due to age.
