It's to hot for hot air

When your vehicle’s air conditioning stops blowing cold, there are several possible reasons. Some are simple, while others require testing to find the exact cause.
One of the most common problems is low refrigerant. Your A/C system is sealed, so refrigerant should not simply disappear. If the system is low, there is usually a leak somewhere. That leak could be in a hose, seal, condenser, evaporator, or another part of the system.
The A/C compressor could also be the problem. The compressor circulates refrigerant through the system and helps create the cold air you feel inside the vehicle. If it is not turning on or is failing internally, the A/C may blow warm air.
Electrical problems can also prevent the system from working correctly. A blown fuse, faulty relay, damaged wiring, bad sensor, or cooling fan problem can all affect A/C performance.
Sometimes the air is still cold, but it is not blowing strongly from the vents. A dirty or clogged cabin air filter may be restricting airflow. There could also be a problem with the blower motor or the doors inside the dash that control temperature and airflow.
You may also notice that the A/C is cold while driving but becomes warm when you stop. This can happen when the cooling fans are not working properly or when the system has another pressure-related problem.
Simply adding refrigerant may provide a temporary fix, but it does not repair a leak or identify the real cause of the problem. A proper A/C inspection allows us to check the system pressures, inspect for leaks, test electrical components, and determine what is keeping the system from cooling properly.
