What does the snowflake mean on your tire?

Posted on 12/18/2019

The snowflake on your tire means your tire is snow rated - this isn't a stud less snow tire, this just means that your tires are rated for winter driving. They can handle winter and snow, but if you live in an area that gets an intense amount of winter weather then it may be a good idea to invest in stud less snow tires. Stud less snow tires have extra cuts in the tread which allows them to grip slippery surfaces better.
