Why are my brakes squeaking?

Your brakes could be squeaking due to being wet, from the type of pad material, they were overheated, or they are close to needing replaced. Many brake systems have a "squealer" on them that tells you when your brakes are getting close to needing replacement. This squealer is activated with the pad thickness is thin. If you're wondering why your brakes are squeaking it could be that you are due for new brake pads. We do free brake inspections - give us a call and let us take care of you.
