Why did my car make a shrieking noise

Posted on 3/30/2020

Typically when your car makes a shrieking noise it's because the belt is loose and slipping on the pulley. This can be an issue with the belt it's self or it could be an issue with the pulley. Over time your belts wear and wear out. It could also be an issue with the tensioner or pulley where it starts to fail internally. The only way to know is to have it checked.
