Why did my radiator start leaking?

Your radiator most likely started to leak due to age. The outside of your radiator is a plastic tank that is surrounded by metal. When the plastic tank gets old then it will become brittle and crack, this will cause your radiator to leak coolant. Your coolant is a vital component to your engine and if it is leaking then it will need to be replaced.
