Coolant Leak?
A coolant leak is not something to mess around with. Keeping your engine at the proper operating temperature is critical to the health of your engine. Your engine has a closed cooling system. This system consists of your water pump, thermostat, radiator, heater core and hoses.
The water pump is an important piece of your cooling system. It pumps coolant from your radiator and back to help keep your engine at the proper temperature. If your water pump is leaking that is an indication that your water pump is beginning to fail. That failure can lead to your engine overheating and possible engine damage.
