Why does my car squeak when I drive?



Your car may be squeaking while you are driving due to a tensioner or pulley starting to fail. If the bearing inside your serpentine belt tensioner assembly starts to fail, then it will cause a squeaking noise. If it is the bearings inside of your serpentine belt tensioner then it will progressively get louder and eventually, the bearing will fail.
