Why does my car squeak when I drive?

Why does my car squeak when I drive?

Your car may be squeaking while you are driving due to a tensioner or pulley starting to fail. If the bearing inside your serpentine belt tensioner assembly starts to fail, then it will cause a squeaking noise. If it is the bearings inside of your serpentine belt tensioner then it will progressively get louder and eventually, the bearing will fail. This could cause damage to your engine depending on how your serpentine belt is routed. Give us a call and let us take care of you.

Happy Adventures,

Heather
