Why is it important to get an alignment?

It's important to get an alignment because when your vehicle is out of "alignment" it can cause tire wear, poorly handling, poor fuel mileage and damage to components. You should have an alignment whenever you have suspension work performed and after new tires. You should have your alignment checked at least once a year due to road hazards that you probably never think about. Hitting a pot hole hard enough can cause damage to your car and it can cause your alignment to suffer.
