Why is my car burning oil?

Your car could be burning oil due to a dirty air filter. When your air filter is dirty it restricts air flow into the engine and that will cause the engine it to pull to much air from the crankcase and can cause it to start burning oil. We recommend to replace your air filter whenever it's dirty and depending on where you live, the type of driving that you do and where you adventure to that could be at each oil change, or just once a year.
