Why is my car shaking when I brake?

If your car is shaking when you press on the brakes then it could be that your rotors are then it could be from your brakes. If your brake components get to hot then it can cause damage to your rotors that will cause a vibration when braking. This can be fixed by having your brake rotors replaced.
