An oil leak can be dangerous
There are degrees of oil leaks, some are a seep, those can be watch and planned to be taken care of in the future, other leaks are active and dripping, those leaks need to be taken care of immediately as the gasket or seal has failed. An oil leak can cause your engine oil to be low, when this happens the internal components of your engine are no longer being properly lubricated. Lack of proper lubrication can cause engine damage, component failure and possible engine failure.
