It may not be your transmission...

Many times people think that just because your engine starts and then your transmission doesn't engage and you don't move that the transmission is bad. Sometimes that is the case yes, and other times it is due to other factors and your transmission is completely fine.


In the case above is a great example of that. The engine would start and run great then when they put it into gear nothing would happen. They thought the transmission had gone out. Thankfully it was just the flex plate that had broke and separated. When this happens it separates the engine from the transmission. Without this contact your transmission will not engage and you will not be going anywhere. Thankfully this is fixable and we can get you back on the road again.
