That growling noise is a warning
Ever hear a strange growling or humming noise when driving? That noise is a warning that your wheel bearing may be failing. It's one of those parts that you don't think about often, or until something starts to go wrong. When it does go wrong not only does it affect your ride quality it can be a safety issue.
Your wheel bearing is located inside your hub assembly, this bearing connects your wheel to your axle. This bearing allows your wheels to spin with little friction. It also supports the weight of the vehicle. These bearings are sealed to prevent dirt, water and debris from getting into them causing damage.
