My battery cables are corroded - why should I have them cleaned?

When you battery cables are corroded they do not conduct electricity well and that can cause an issue with your starting system. It will also cause your battery to not charge properly when you a driving down the road. This can also damage your battery cables if left unattended for a long period of time.
