It keeps the air you breathe cleaner
A cabin air filter does an important job. All that dust, dander, pollen, smoke and mold that is floating through the air. Well your cabin air filter filters that out so that what you're breathing inside your vehicle is cleaner air. Have you been sneezing or stuffy lately? If so that is a great example of your cabin air filter being dirty or plugged. When it's dirty it cannot filter out all the impurities in the air and you end up breathing that in. If you live out of town where things are a bit dustier then I would recommend having your cabin air filter changed more frequently.
