Where to put your spare tire?

Posted on 7/10/2019

Did you know that when go to change a flat tire that you need to put the spare tire opposite of your drive tires. If your car is front wheel drive and the flat is in the front then you will move one of your rear tires to the front and put your spare on the rear. The same is true if you have a rear wheel drive you would just do the opposite. Now if you have an all wheel drive vehicle then you need to have a spare tire that is the same size as your regular tires - in this case it doesn't matter where you put it.
