Why does my car burn oil?

Posted on 4/11/2019

If your car is burning oil it is more than likely due to the valve guide seals leaking inside the engine. Over time they wear out like all seals and at that point they will need to be replaced.

There are other reasons that your car could be burning oil, but that is the most typical reason that we see. If your car is burning oil give us a call and let us take care of you. (541) 791-2886
