Why does my car make a screeching noise when I turn it on?

Posted on 4/15/2019

If your car is making a screeching noise each time you start it, it is probably do to your belt being stretched. Your belts over a period of time will stretch with wear, if your belt has been replaced recently it just needs to be re-tightened and if that doesn't work then it should be replaced under warranty. If it's been awhile since your belts have been replaced it is then probably time to replace them.
