A blower motor is part of your heating and air conditioning system. This component uses a fan to move the air through your vents. It's an important part of your system. When your blower motor stops working it can cause fogged up windows and poor visibility.  Your blower motor can fail due to normal wear, water intrusion and commonly rodent damage and debris.

Similar blowers are used on hybrid and electric vehicles to keep the batteries at the proper operating temperatures.
