Why is my steering wheel shaking?

Posted on 4/24/2020

Your steering wheel may be shaking due to an issue with your power steering pump. If your power steering pump is low on fluid is can make noise and cause a shaking in your engine that transfers to your steering wheel. If the power steering pump is leaking then it will need to be replaced. If it leaks for an extended period of time then you can loose your power steering and in certain vehicles the ability to steer at all.
