My service tire pressure message is on

Posted on 10/26/2020

This is mostly likely due to a fault with one of your TPMS sensors. Your TPMS sensor is short for your Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor. This sensor monitors the air pressure in your tires. If one of your tires is below the pressure it should be or if it is over inflated the light will come on. This can also happen if one of the batteries in the sensor stops working. The batteries typically last 3 to 5 years. I usually recommend to have the sensors replaced when you have new tires installed on your vehicle. It saves you time and a second trip to have it replaced. Did you know that here at J & H Automotive we can take care of that for you. We can! Give us a call and let us take care of you.
