There is nothing wrong with bio-diesel as long as your pickup's engine is made to use it. Many older diesel vehicles can handle the bio-diesel. Newer modern diesels use a high pressure fuel system and the pumps often cannot function properly and could even be damaged from a higher percentage of bio-diesel in the fuel. You should check your owner's manual or give us a call and we would be happy to look up what tolerance of bio-diesel your engine can tolerate.
Since you're driving a diesel you should always keep on hand a high quality diesel fuel additive just in case you're ever in a situation that you have to use a bio-diesel that your vehicle may not tolerate well.
Give us a call and let us take care of you.
Happy Adventures,
Heather
