It's important to get an alignment because when your vehicle is out of "alignment" it can cause tire wear, poorly handling, poor fuel mileage and damage to components. You should have an alignment whenever you have suspension work performed and after new tires. You should have your alignment checked at least once a year due to road hazards that you probably never think about. Every engine is different, and every manufacturer has a different interval for when your spark plugs should be changed. On a Kia you should have your spark plugs changed every 30,000 to 45,000 miles.
