I am not someone who makes new year resolutions, maybe I should be but it's just not my personality. Typically if I decide I'm going to do something then I just do it and move on. Now when you're trying to make better habits it takes time and help. We're here to help you with your car maintenance when you need it. While we love to see our clients smiling faces sometimes you don't love to see us when you're having car problems. We're trying to fix that for you by getting your car on a maintenance schedule. If you know when your next oil change, tune up, and/or fluid service is due then you can plan ahead and it takes all the stress out of your day. This could be from the motor that moves your heater doors may have stripped gear which is causing the clicking noise. When this happens the motor would need to be replaced. Your rack and pinion is your steering gear, it is called a rack and pinion because it uses a flat gear instead of a worm gear. Your heater core is part of your cooling and heating system. The coolant/antifreeze that flows through your engine to keep it cooled properly also flows through your heater core. The heater core provides heat to the interior of your car through the antifreeze that flows through your engine. When turning on your heat and you smell antifreeze, you most likely have a leak somewhere within your cooling system. Merry Christmas Eve! Christmas is almost here! I know my kids are so excited for Christmas and to be done with school for a couple of weeks. I wish I could say they're sleeping in, but they're on swim team so they're at practice every morning from 6:30-8:30 so no sleeping in for them. Your headlights could be dim due to the type of bulb that is in your headlight, it could also be from your headlight lenses that have begun to get cloudy. This can be remedied without changing your headlight lenses. Merry Christmas and Happy 2020!! The next year brings huge changes to my family as our oldest son will be graduating from high school and moving onto college. He's unsure of where that might be, he could stay home (which I wouldn't mind) but he is also talking about going away....so we're just waiting on that. This year though with it being his possible last year at home I'm trying to make it as special as possible. We have holiday parties planned and adventures with friends. With all that coming and going it's a good time to remember some rules and tips when traveling in the winter weather.  1. Make sure you have your phone and charger. If you break down you'll want it.  2. Water - make sure you have a bottle for each person in the car 3. Blankets - I keep a blanket in the car at all times, this time of year though I add a couple or when I know we're going on a day trip I tell the boys to grab one.  4.
