My oil light came on

If your oil light comes on then you need to pull over as soon as it is safe and turn off your engine. This light could come due to a lack of oil pressure in your engine. When your engine does not have enough oil pressure then the oil cannot lubricate your engine properly. If this happens then it can cause your engine to fail. Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My transfer case won't go into 4wd

Knowing that your 4wd is available to you when you want it is important. If your 4wd is not engaging properly then it could be due to a issue with your transfer case motor or actuator. This component over time can wear out and cause it to not function when you want it to. Many times it is the electrical component that has worn out not the motor itself. Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures, Heather

My oil pressure gauge stopped working

Your oil pressure could have dropped out due to an issue with your oil pump. If your oil pump is not pumping enough oil out of your oil pan into your engine then it can cause engine failure. Your oil is the lifeblood of your engine and if it doesn't have it then it won't run. This can be tested by putting a mechanical gauge on your engine to test how much oil pressure you have. If your oil can light comes on while you're driving then you should pull over as soon as it is safe and turn off your engine.  Give us a call to set up your appointment and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My car won't run

If your car won't run then it could be due to a faulty fuel pump. Most of the time your fuel pump is an electrical component and over time it will wear out and need to be replaced. This isn't typically something that can be detected prior to the fuel pump failing. A tip to help your fuel pump last longer keep your fuel tank over 1/4 tank. When your tank has less than 1/4 then it can cause your fuel pump to suck air and it can shorten the lifespan.  Give us a call and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My car is making a ticking noise

This ticking noise could be coming from your exhaust manifold. Over time the bolts that connect the exhaust manifold to your cylinder head will become brittle and they can break. The bolts get hot every time you drive your car and that hot/cold cycle after many miles can cause an issue. This is a common issue that is corrected by removing the broken bolt and gasket, then replacing the gasket and hardware. There are other reasons for your engine to be ticking, but this is a common problem.  Give us a call to schedule your appointment and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My steering wheel is stiff

If your steering wheel is stiff while turning then it could be an issue with your power steering pump. If it is low on fluid then it won't have enough fluid to work properly causing the steering issue. It is most likely low due to a leak in your system. This could be the power steering pump itself, a line or one of the other steering components. Give us a call to schedule your appointment and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather

My headlights are cloudy

Your headlights lens can become cloudy due to age and deterioration from the elements. This can impair your driving visibility and make for unsafe conditions. Rather than replace your headlight lenses we can restore them and they will look like almost new and you will be able to see properly while driving at night. This process takes a bit of time and energy but it is worth it when you can see where you're headed. Give us a call to schedule your appointment and let us take care of you.  Happy Adventures,  Heather
