Kingpins are on larger vehicles, they hold the knuckle to the straight axle or I-beam. On smaller vehicles will have ball joints instead of the kingpin. If your car sounds loud it could be the the engine fan running constantly. When the coolant is low the engine can go into limp mode to protect it from damage, and it will turn on the engine cooling fans to keep the engine at a safe temperature.  If you're having issues then it should be looked at as soon as possible. Timing belts should be done every 60-90K miles depending on your engine. When we do timing belts we also change your water pump, pulleys, thermostat, serpentine belts and the camshaft and crankshaft seals. Most of these all come in a complete kit and you know Murphy's law if you don't change it when you're there it will leak later. Is your key sticking or just not wanting to come out at all? It's most likely the tumbler has failed and is causing the issue. The only way to fix it is to have the tumbler replaced and depending on how worn the key is, it may have to be replaced also.
