Why does my diesel losing power?

Why does my diesel losing power?

Your diesel could be losing power from a plugged fuel filter and/or from bad fuel. Your fuel filter should be changed every 10,000 to 15,000 miles. If you're unsure of the quality of the fuel you're getting then it's better to change it more often.  If you're having issues with lack of power with your diesel give us a call at 541-791-2886 and we'll get you back on the road again. Shop Small Business Saturday

Shop Small Business Saturday

I know today is black Friday and that itself has become a national holiday, but with all of that please remember to shop at the local stores in your town. They are small businesses trying to provide for there families, they work long hours with very little reward other than to know they are making a difference in the lives of the people who they employ and to there children. We are a small business too and sometimes people forget.  Please remember to shop small and support that local family who is doing their best to make a difference. Happy Adventures,  Heather

Fuel filter's and why you should replace them

Fuel filter's and why you should replace them

A fuel filter is just that a filter that filter's out the debris in the fuel that you put in your car. What happens is the debris starts to plug your fuel filter and then less fuel gets through.  Now in a perfect world the fuel would be clean and you would not need this, but that's not reality unfortunately. Vehicles who have a serviceable fuel filter we recommend that they be replaced every 15,000 miles.  For those that are not serviceable don't worry about it.  Happy Adventures Heather
